Lin VanderVliet (b. 1992) is a visual artist whose recent work combines an interest in personal experience from within a framework of identical twinhood. Her work seeks to promote a sense of underlying anxiety through performative documentation and the usage of written text. Reoccurring themes include a fascination with the uncanny (a sense of disturbance among familiar and foreign territory) and the expression of personal catharsis through hypothetical and self-surveying absurdity. Currently, she works digitally.
